Actinoptychus heterostrophus Schmidt (1875)
Comment: Large, moderately well-preserved valve with parts of the margin missing, and with a large fracture across the central part of the valve face.
Locality: Ocean Drilling Program Hole 1050C (Blake Nose, western North Atlantic), sample: 171B-1050C-2R-4, 100-101 cm (early Paleocene).
