
Cortinocornus rossicus (Pantocsek) Gleser (1984)
Comment: A medium-sized frustule. The valves have similar proportions, but differ in the types of terminations to their polar elevations. The upper valve has collars and the lower valve has slightly reduced platforms. Together, these represent the ball-and-socket linking structure found in this genus.
Locality: Eidsbotn Fjord, Devon Island, Nunavut, Canada, sample: EF0103 (Late Cretaceous).
