Nikolaevia symbolica Harwood & Witkowski (2010)
Comment: The distinctive feature of the genus Nikolaevia is the presence of a prominent, curved slit in the center of the valve face, representing an external opening to a single central rimoportula.
Locality: Eidsbotn Fjord, Devon Island, Nunavut, Canada, sample: EF0402 (Late Cretaceous).
