
Auliscus propinquus Grove & Sturt (1887)
Comment: Small valve with a well-preserved ring of spinules along the valve margin. The elevated part of the valve face is pierced by fine perforations, occasionally interrupted by ridges and spinules.
Locality: Cormack's Siding, Oamaru, New Zealand, sample: Cormack's Siding (Eocene-Oligocene Transition).
