Comment: This species is distinguished by the small spherical elevations and depressions present next to the valve margin.
Locality: Deep Sea Drilling Project Hole 402A (Bay of Biscay, northeast Atlantic), sample: 48-402A-4R-2, 70-71 cm (middle Eocene).
