Comment: Small, well-preserved valve. Light microscope usually doesn't resolve whether the polar ocelli are preserved.
Locality: Deep Sea Drilling Project Hole 402A (Bay of Biscay, northeast Atlantic), sample: 48-402A-4R-2, 70-71 cm (middle Eocene).
