Comment: Small, well-preserved valve with one rimoportula visible close to the valve face center. The slide on which this diatom is mounted, is labelled as material from Kusnetzk, Russia, but it features also taxa reported only from Barbados and only from Oamaru. This specimen likely comes from Kusnetzk.
Locality: Locality unknown. The Natural History Museum slide BM coll. Adams M89 (age unknown).
