Comment: An unusually long and slender valve. The lower pole is broken off, and the tip of the upper pole is missing. Also the linking structure (periplekton) is only partly preserved.

Ocean Drilling Program Hole 1050A (Blake Nose, western North Atlantic), sample: 171B-1050A-8H-1, 100-101 cm (middle Eocene).
