Comment: A large valve, partly covered by a smaller diatom. Small parts of the valve face are missing, but the pattern of internal costae is clearly visible.
Locality: Ocean Drilling Program Hole 1050C (Blake Nose, western North Atlantic), sample: 171B-1050C-2R-4, 100-101 cm (early Paleocene).
