Triceratium unguiculatum Greville (1864)
Comment: Well-preserved valve positioned with the underside facing toward the viewer. Please note that this species is an example of Triceratium in the strict sense.

Deep Sea Drilling Project Hole 280A (south of South Tasman Rise, southwest Pacific), sample: 29-280A-6-3, 116-117 cm (Eocene-Oligocene Transition).
