Comment: Well-preserved valve positioned with the underside facing toward the viewer. Please note that this species is an example of Triceratium in the strict sense.
Locality: Deep Sea Drilling Project Hole 280A (south of South Tasman Rise, southwest Pacific), sample: 29-280A-6-3, 116-117 cm (Eocene-Oligocene Transition).
