Comment: A resting spore taxon with epivalves characterized by anastomosing ridges present near the poles, and a transverse hyaline band near the center.
Locality: Ocean Drilling Program Hole 959A (Côte d'Ivoire-Ghana Marginal Ridge, eastern tropical Atlantic), sample: 159-959A-30X-3, 120-121 cm (early Miocene).
